All About My Story
Marriage & Family Therapist
For over 10 years, I have had the utmost pleasure and honor of sharing the gifts that I have been given with hundreds of individuals, couples, families, young adults, teens, and children in my therapeutic care. The passion I have developed for helping my clients has become the light that tends to guide me towards establishing effective and functional relationships with all of my clients. I devote productive and positive energy towards enhancing the lives of my clients through an ongoing collaborative and relational synergy.
As my client, you are always valued for who you are and where you are, RIGHT NOW! My goal is to support you so that you have the tools and full support to progress towards your specific desires. The struggles we sometimes encounter in our lives become the cornerstone to changes in our lives. Moreover, we find out who we genuinely want to be and that is our authentic self.
Through the journey to finding Shari, I have had to jump over, crawl under, and, ultimately, face some ugly truths about self. The things that I have learned through my journey, is that life teaches us lifelong lessons related to five essential aspects, humanness, acceptance, forgiveness, honesty, and a willingness to make changes in our lives.
In Shari’s spare time, she appreciates quality time with her family, longtime family pet (Cartez), and numerous close friends. In addition, she enjoys attending different community cultural events that broadens her mind to the diverse aspects of our diverse societies. Shari has a long history of being civically and "community- minded" to the plights of marginalized people that make up a majority of our underclass societies. She is also involved in supporting the women’s movement through organizational teaming, sister-to-sister networking, mentoring young adult women, and entrepreneurial investments.
“I learned that people will forget what you’ve said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
